Southeast Asia, East Asia

What motivated you to become a trainer/consultant/coach?

I am fascinated by how differently people perceive the world and by how enriching it is when we find ways to bridge those differences. I built my own bridge between Asia and Europe when I moved to Germany as a young woman. My personal experience has shown me how crucial cultural understanding is for successful integration and collaboration. Studying Southeast Asian Studies and Psychology paved the way for my journey into intercultural training and consulting. What motivates me most is witnessing how initial uncertainty can transform into trust and genuine cooperation.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

The greatest joy for me is the moment when a shift in perspective takes place, when an “aha moment” turns into real understanding. I value personal exchange, reflection, and learning together with people from diverse backgrounds. In my work, I combine professional expertise with my own lived experiences, which creates a sense of authenticity and closeness.
And through my work, I maintain a constant connection to Asia. This gives me fulfillment and the feeling of staying close to Asia even when I am physically thousands of kilometers away.

How might intercultures’ customers find you unique?

My work is characterized by cultural sensitivity, systemic thinking, and a strong practical focus. I combine intercultural expertise with current insights, including from neuroscience, and always focus on the real-life working context of my clients. My approach is interactive, resource-oriented, and tailored to the specific needs of each group. Participants learn to recognize nuances in communication and to integrate different ways of thinking and acting with appreciation.

What do you enjoy about working with intercultures?

Working with intercultures holds a special place for me. It was essentially the starting point of my career as an intercultural trainer. Through a recommendation, I met Stefan Meister, who interviewed me at Stuttgart Airport. Shortly afterward, I received my first assignment.
This collaboration has allowed me to continuously develop my skills and grow through a variety of exciting projects. Stefan and the team have always been supportive and approachable. The partnership is defined by respect, openness, and a strong commitment to quality. I am proud to be part of this network!

What topic in International Organizatonial Development do you currently find most exciting?

Right now, I am particularly interested in the topic of psychological safety in intercultural teams. Especially in virtual and hybrid work environments, it becomes clear how crucial trust, openness to mistakes, and cultural humility are for sustainable team performance.
Unconscious biases, communication styles, and leadership cultures play a major role in this. I focus on how to create environments in diverse teams where everyone feels safe to share their perspectives because to me, this is a key capability for future-ready global collaboration.
